Position Overview

Our Beauty Advisor will represent our client, Dyson, and their premium line of hair styling products. You will visit a local Nordstrom and Sephora store to engage shoppers and demonstrate all the reasons why Dyson hair styling tools are pioneering and the best that money can buy! Dyson's Supersonic hair dryer, Airwrap styler, Airstrait wet to dry straightener, and Corrale cordless straightener have revolutionized the beauty industry by combining cutting-edge mechanical technology with stunning design. As a Dyson Beauty Expert, you will have the opportunity to represent these exceptional products and make a significant impact on customers' personal styling routines.

Many of our best Beauty Advisors freelance with other companies associated with haircare or cosmetics brands. The ideal candidate has an enthusiastic attitude and passion for the beauty industry, can easily connect with people, and will be able to confidently perform fundamental curling and straightening techniques during in-store demo sessions.

Schedule and Main Location

16 hours per weekend

Saturdays and Sundays 10:30am - 7:00pm

Nordstrom and Sephora in Denver, CO

What We Offer

$22.00 to $26.00per hour, based on experience

Duties

Share enthusiasm about the Dyson brand with store associates and customers

Conduct interactive styling demos product presentations to individuals and groups

Provide engaging beauty consultations and expert product knowledge advice to increase sales

Train store personnel to communicate Dyson information with confidence

Help maintain visual product display standards at shopfront

Establish positive professional connections with store leaders and beauty advisors

Participate in paid training sessions and team conference calls

Complete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift

Qualifications

Valid cosmetology licensepreferred, but not required

High energy and strong relationship-building skills

Experience in hair styling and/or working in a salon environment

Experience in retail, customer service, and/or sales preferred

Access to reliable vehicle transportation to commute to assigned stores

Must adhere to dress code/professional appearance standards and demeanor

Access to a smart device to complete reporting and communicate with district manager

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
