We are currently looking foroutgoing, energetic, and customer service-oriented individuals to fill theposition of Bartender on a part-time basis.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. Thisincludes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paperproducts, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projectionsfrom the Daily Checklist.Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruitand vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensureproduct quality.Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promotes and documentsorders for drinks. Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standardingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to servingalcoholic beverages.Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check foreach guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintainaccountability of all beverages served.Receives cash from guests, makes any change needed, verify all guestchecks, records charges, and ensures coupons are properly executed, inorder to balance all transactions.Locks up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, depositscash drops and secures bank.Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on all scheduled shifts.Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:At least six months of experience as a Bartender.Food handler and TIPS (or equivalent) certificationsMust have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personalitywith an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at alltimes. Can communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" andhelp co- workers with their job duties and be a team player. Must have basicknowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholicbeverages. Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register,make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops,total all other charges, and understand portion sizes. Sufficient manualdexterity in hands in order to use a knife to make garnish, pick upglassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead toretrieve stock. Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menuitems. Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-checkan order and close out a check.For applicants who will be working in Colorado the anticipated compensationrange for the position is $10.63 - $15.00 Per Hour. The salary offered toa successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may includebut are not limited to years of experience within the job, years ofexperience within the required industry, education, work location, etc.Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicatedherein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.*Employer accepts applications on an ongoing basis
