JOB REQUIREMENTS: To serve food and beverage items to group guest in aprofessional manner at all times. -Prepare food items supplies such asbutter, creamers, crackers, rolls, dressings, etc. -Set and replenishbuffet tables with food, plates, etc. -Set tables according tostandards, i.e., linen clothes, silverware, condiments, etc. -Serveassigned stations complete meal as ordered. -Clear dirty dishes betweencourses. -Follows standard procedures for banquet service, including setup and side duties. -Obtain individual food and beverage orders asnecessary. -Respond to guest needs and answer any guest questions andrelay comments and questions to banquet captain and/or manager. -Foldnapkins. -Stock glasses, soup bowls, utensils, etc. -Wipe and fill sugarbowls, salt and peppershakers. -Return all equipment to proper storagearea including perishable items. -Clean function room and service areaafter function. -Help kitchen and set-up staff load and unloadtransportation vehicle with equipment and food items. -Assists in tableand banquet room clean up. -Assist other departments when requested bythe Banquet Manager and/or Assistant Banquet Manager. -Performs otherrelated duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager, Assistant BanquetManager and/or Banquet Captain.
