Advanced Manufacturing Planning Associate
Cannonsburg, PA
Contract Position
This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems for our national defense. You would be a part of creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military.

Responsibilities:
Perform production and material planning activities for small program or factoryReview enterprise resource planning data or other inventory records and ensures material availability for production buildsCoordinate needs with manufacturing, purchasing, warehouse and other support areasValidate and process material purchase requisitions and shop orders to meet demandCoordinate material movement between warehouse and production areasCoordinate and resolve potential schedule impacts to program builds caused by late material deliveriesPrepare and maintain records of items shippedGather and analyze material planning dataDevelop knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning conceptsDevelop knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteProvide information or data requiring some explanation or interpretationWork in a team environment to ensure all objectives are met for the work groupLimited supervision required; no instructions needed for routine work, and general instructions given for new activities or special assignmentsQualifications:
High School Diploma/GED combiend with 6 + years of relevant work experience.Secret ClearanceEffective communication skills, both written and verbalBasic problem-solving skillsGood knowledge of IFS principlesGood knowledge of the receipt and stocking processesGood knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows applicationsMay require knowledge of government property handling proceduresKnowledgeable in the usage and tracking of government/customer furnished materiaAbility to gather and analyze datAbility to utilize influence management when communicating with other functional departmentsYour Recruiter
