Devils Thumb Ranch Operating Co. Inc is seeking three (3) BaggageWrangler/Bellman to work with them at 3530 County Rd 83, Tabernash,Colorado 80478. The position will be full-time and seasonal during the datesof April 1, 2024 - December 31, 2024.
The role of the Baggage Wrangler/Bell Man is to greet guests in Portecache, open vehicle door for passengers, valet park car if needed anddeliver luggage and vehicle keys to lodge room, retrieve vehicles and loadluggage for guests departing, maintain integrity of front entrance andlobby, provide requested shuttle service when needed. Regarding the shuttleservice duties, the Baggage Wrangler will drive a standard a small SUV aswell as 12 passenger Van. The destinations can be up to 10 miles. Shuttlestypically run a schedule, but guests can request unplanned transportation. Adriver's license is required. Follow department and Ranch policies andprocedures, assist Agents, Reservation Specialists, Night Auditor andPBX Operator, answer guest questions, be knowledgeable about otherdepartments, be aware of guests and Ranch issues. Assist the GeneralManager, Lodging Director, and Guest Services Manager to ensure that theranch is running at its best, the baggage wrangler will run small errandssuch as bringing mails or keys or complimentary champagne to the guests'rooms as directed by these personnel. Must be outgoing and friendly, enjoyworking with the public, and possess excellent communication andorganizational skills. Able to work independently or with other team members.Professionally dressed and carry a good attitude. Be flexible to the needs ofthe department and the Ranch. Basic computer/email knowledge required,possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability tooperate manual, automatic and diesel vehicles. Must be able to lift up tofifty (50) pounds and be able to stand for long periods of time.
Employees will work Mon-Sun an average of 35 hours/wk. Must be able to workany 7-hour shift within the time frames of 6 am to 11 pm any day of the week.Days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends and holidays are required. This jobrequires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing,must be flexible, be able to communicate in English and be a team player.
On-the-job training is provided. Devils Thumb Ranch Operating Co. Inc willprovide workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required toperform the job at no charge. Transportation is provided at no charge.
Wage is $17.86 per hour. All deductions will be made from paychecks that arerequired by law. No other deductions will be taken unless voluntarily agreedto by the employee. Overtime is available at a rate of $26.79 per hour.Wages will be paid bi-weekly on Friday, and the employer will use a singleworkweek as its standard for computing wages due.

The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for allvisa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees,including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker. Ifthe worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer willreimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place ofrecruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract orwhere the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay forworker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back homeor to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where theworker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. Theamount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Dailysubsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to amaximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
Ho sing is available at the rate of $150 per week but this is optional. Theamount will be deducted from the employee's paycheck if agreed upon. This isnot a condition of employment. In the alternative, the employer will assistthe worker to find suitable housing that is available within walking distanceof the worksite.
