　　As a Physician Assistant in Neurosurgery you’ll work with 3 other Physicians to provide top-notch care and patient experience.

　　Youwould practice at Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado seeing on average 16 patients per day

　　Your hours will be Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, but can flex to accommodate rounding

　　You will round on Neurosurgical patients at Lutheran Medical Center and be in the Wheat Ridge Neurosurgery Clinic

　　This position would require 5 - 7 nights per month of call shifts

　　In this line of work, every day is different. That is why you’ll need to know how to:

　　Work with brain and spine patients in a clinic setting

　　Pre and post workups for neurosurgical patients

　　Rounding on patients in the hospital and creating plans of care

　　Work in the OR as a first assist 2 days per week

　　Your experience.

　　We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

　　Licensed as a Physician Assistant of Colorado or able to obtain, required

　　Current DEA and full prescriptive authority, required

　　Minimum of 2 years of experience in a neurosurgery setting as a NP or PA, required

　　First Assist experience in brain and spine surgeries for the occasional OR time, required

　　The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
