Description

　　Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Finance Manager to be a key member of the Just Walk Out (JWO) Finance Team. This role will own business partnership with multiple functional Tech and Operations teams while managing related financial planning and forecasting. Additionally, this role will drive strategic projects with various Tech teams related to cost reduction. The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, manage multiple time sensitive deliverables across a highly matrixed organization, along with managing risks and opportunities. The individual will also possess strong business partnership skills and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Lead financial planning and forecasting related to JWO Tech teams; build complex financial models and analytical tools to measure overall financial performance.

　　Own the Cost Curve forecasting model and process related to JWO Tech while partnering with several upstream Tech teams.

　　Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements including automation and coordination with upstream and downstream organizations.

　　Partner with finance teams across AWS to standardize, streamline, and prioritize improvements, remove roadblocks, and increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

　　5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

　　Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

　　6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

　　MBA, or CPA

　　Knowledge of SQL/ETL

　　Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

　　Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

　　Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
