The Risk Management Team of Everest Insurance, a member of the EverestGroup, Ltd. is looking for an AVP to join our Chicago office.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Utilizing authority to underwrite and price business for thefollowing lines of coverage: Workers Compensation, CommercialGeneral Liability, and Commercial Auto liability, while adhering todivisional underwriting guidelines.Establishing and maintaining broker relationships in the Midwest andor Texas, with a concentration on large account primary casualtybusiness.Assisting in development and execution of business strategynecessary to drive submission flow and binding of profitablebusiness.Working collaboratively with home office, marketing & distribution,actuary, claims, loss control, premium audit, and legal in an effortto develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of risk managementinsurance placements.Qualifications, Education & Experience:
College degree preferred, with a minimum of 5 to10 years ofexperience underwriting Casualty insurance.Should have significant experience and expertise in working with abroad array of risk management program structures - everything fromguaranteed cost to large deductibles, fronting arrangements, andcaptives.Existing relationships with Midwest brokers handling risk managementbusiness and/or direct client relationships required.Knowledge, S ills & Competencies:
Possess strong presentation, communication, and business developmentskills.Fluent in leadership skills, negotiation strategies, andproblem-solving capabilities#LI-HYBRID
