Client job description
The AV Computer Service Technician will participate in the delivery, and support of AV
related technology delivery systems and services. This position will maintain and support
AV systems utilizing thorough and clear documentation, along with industry best practices.
This position will participate in project-based teams from conception through execution and
will train others in the use and support of these systems.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Provides excellent customer service to all clients
Participates in the evaluation of technology systems based and adheres to the
establishment of quality standards and professional workmanship
Provides installation, technical support and operational training for all supportedsystems
Performs Warranty Hardware repair
Stays current with new and emerging instructional, media and display technologies and
techniques
Assists teams in the planning, documenting, execution, and testing oftechnology solutions that meet planned schedules and deliverables
Carries out project plans utilizing agile card walls or similar methods of project tracking
Maintains confidentiality for students, faculty, and staff profiles
Establishes and maintains working relationships with colleagues, staff,
administrators and the general public
Possess organizational skills and high attention to detail
Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills
Displays a positive, friendly and respectful attitude towards clients and co-workers
Maintains a safe and clean environment by keeping workstations neat and organized
Follows policies and procedures
Follows safety policy
Maintains good attendance
Conforms to company dress code
Attends meetings on a regular basis

Physical Demands
Performs 4 hours of an 8-hour workday in a sitting position behind a desk
Frequent standing, pushing, pulling, grasping, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling,
repetitive motion, visual activity, color recognition and climbing
Frequent reaching and views on computer equipment
Ability to identify and distinguish colors, close quarters and distance focus capability and
judge depth perception
Loads company vehicle with parts and machines to deliverto client locations
Delivery of office equipment to client locations, utilization of stair climbing equipment
Uses hands and appropriate tools and ladders
Frequently types on a keyboard
Frequently lifts phone receiver to speak to clients and employees
Frequently moves and lifts up to 50 lbs.
Frequently drives company vehicle
Frequently travels during working hours
Qualifications
Employee must be able to execute customer service skills
Associates Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Instructional Technology or
other related field
One to three years of recognized success in Desktop Support, Audio/Visual Support,educational technology, or a related field
May have an equivalent combination of education (including technical degree) andrelated experience to meet the minimum requirement
Valid Driver's Licenselocation: Cedar Rapids, Iowa
