This Accounting Clerk position at a reputable business is for someone who can handle matching invoices to purchase orders and/or vouchers, data entry, and assisting in the process of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R). The Accounting Clerk position is a full-time role in the Natick, Massachusetts, area. 　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Create statements and reports that require the use of a number of sources

　　Help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other general accounting projects

　　Resolve discrepancies, and create correction documents if needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, recreating likely actions, and identifying the effect on other accounts

　　Process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipts, and help with collection of past due balances to support Accounts Receivable

　　Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

　　Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

　　Manually or electronically post financial information

　　Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis Requirements - Adeptness in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

　　General ledger experience desired

　　Microsoft Excel experience preferred

　　Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Month-end Close Activities experience highly desired

　　Accounts Payable (AP) experience

　　Ability to multitask and attention to detail are critical

　　AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

　　2+ years of accounting experience required

　　Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested

　　Experience with high volume data entry
