  Position Overview

  The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking anorganized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve asAudit Manager. Under administrative direction, this position will plan,organize, direct, and control a team of auditors engaged in theperformance of a variety of audits within the Department. The positionwill advise the Chief Internal Auditor of audit risks and staffcapabilities. This position provides a great opportunity for a motivatedindividual who is interested in managing an internal auditing team andensuring the teams effectiveness within the Department of Children andFamily Services.   Job Responsibilities

  1. Serves as Audit Manager

  2. Serves as full line supervisor

  3. Collaborates with the Chief Internal Auditor to provide on-the-joband formalized internal audit training

  4. Monitors office activities to ensure compliance with the Office ofInternal Audits Policies and Procedures Manual and the Department ofChildren and Family Services policies and procedures

  5. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonablywithin the scope of the duties enumerated above
