Position Summary
To work as key point of contact for Business / Marketing, Field sales and leads the over all forecasting for the business. Should be able to have right interventions to achieve volumes, drive strategies in terms of budgeting, channel planning, new launches, activation and forecast picture of success for his/her relevant category. He/ She should be considered as an expert for category and would lead the decisions in category penetration and expansion.
A day in the life of...
• Reflect right volume planning on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis for the category.
• Custodian of investments required to ensure channel wise volumes and brand activations on store level.
• Defines picture of success for the category across channels and geographies.
• Deep dive in channels and geographies to identify potential areas of improvement and help field sales team to improve them.
• Define category growth drivers and work with cross functional teams to bring those drivers to life.
• Develop activation plans for channels and help channel team to do immaculate execution.
• Champions shopper centricity for the assigned category and define necessary interventions to understand and engage shopper.
• Custodian of trade spend while ensuring the right ROI.
• Key initiator to define issues and opportunities for the brands / categories and help to devise the integrated commercial plan with Business and Field Sales team.
• Work with customer team to initiate and lead joint business planning for assigned category.
• Liaison with demand and customer planning to ensure appropriate stocks are planned and executed across value chain.
• Sign off yearly investment plan with business and ensure compliance.
