Examples of DutiesWork in conjunction with the Parks Supervisor to schedule, coordinate, and perform maintenance at all athletic facilities.Work in conjunction with the Athletics Supervisor to schedule maintenance staff for all tournament play.Supervise and collaborate with crew members in the performance of various park and facility maintenance assignments including, but not limited to:```{=html}
```1. Operate power tools such as edgers, weed eaters, chain saws, rotary tillers, hammer drills, etc.2. Operate equipment such as zero turn mowers, utility vehicles, field groomers, and tractors with attachments.3. Conduct regular inspections of athletic fields and facilities to identify and prioritize issues accordingly.4. Use Cityworks to maintain all records of athletic field maintenance operations.5. Read and suggest edits to construction plans in accordance with best maintenance practices.6. Prepare for and implement the ordering of materials, equipment, and supplies to complete assigned tasks.7. Attend pertinent training classes to obtain information on current products, practices, and trends in the athletic maintenance field.8. Oversee service and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.9. Work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for special events.10. May be required to perform other department duties as assigned.

High school diploma or GEDValid Texas Drivers LicenseCompletion of an 8 hour TDA approved chemical safety class for application of herbicides/pesticides under the supervision of a licensed chemical applicator within 6 months of hireBackground in athletic field/turf maintenanceIrrigation License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hirePreferred:
