Description

　　Robert Half is seeking to staff a Billing Clerk role at our client. The Billing Clerk will create invoices, credit memos, update accounting records, customer information, and send payment reminders. This may be the role for you if you are a dynamic Billing Clerk with excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Handle DME business aspects for care arrangement, insurance verification, and coverage limits

　　Manage incoming referrals, track inquiries, and provide responses

　　Utilize Salesforce for daily business tasks following standard procedures

　　Act as a liaison for insurance companies and sales reps through high-volume calls

　　Process prior authorizations, appeals, and updates efficiently

　　Provide accurate and timely updates to sales reps, instructing on payer coverage criteria

　　Research information using available resources for referral submissions and updates

　　Identify and escalate priority issues to Intake Manager for timely referral completion

　　Other duties as assigned

　　Requirements

　　1+ years of medical billing experience

　　Detail oriented. Proactive. Strong communication skills.

　　High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree preferred.

　　Advanced Microsoft Office skills
