Key Accountabilities & Deliverables
Exhibit in-depth knowledge of (re)insurance domain. Knowledge of RMS/ other vendor models (model methodology, schema) would be an added advantage.
Hands-on experience in assessing client workflows to identify the areas of improvement and building a solution for same including implementation.
Creating a detailed business/ client analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for a business
Present the solution to internal stake holders/ client articulating the outcome and business impact
Experience on Cat modelling processes including account modelling and Portfolio/ Cedant analysis, is a big plus
Evaluate products/ models from client perspective to identify the gaps and help product team to prioritize the functionalities for better client experience.
Document all aspects of a project, particularly focusing on the rationale for decisions and exceptions.
Ideate for product/ process improvements to drive product adoption or process efficiency.
Manage client and internal communication independently
Support vertical head and new opportunities team for developing new service lines.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong database and data mining skills - Good knowledge of Excel, Access, and SQL
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Collaborative and stakeholder management
Requirements:
BE / B. Tech (preferably Civil/Mechanical Engineering) from IIT/NIT or other reputed universities
OR
MBA Finance/Insurance/Operations Research or master's in mathematics/ Statistics/Operations Research/Economics from top-tier universities.
7+ years' experience in risk/ business/ data analytics for P&C insurance, reinsurance, or insurance linked securities as business analyst or advisory role
Experience in mathematical or statistical application for R&D, model development or solution design.
Extensive experience on catastrophe risk models.
Proven project experience.
