Job Overview :
The Associate Piping Designer assists in preparation of detail drawings and deliverables of high technical quality and of consistent presentation ensuring clarity and constructability. They also gain experience in the following work areas: Design, 2D drafting, 3D drafting and/or model creation. They develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work. The Principal/ Senior Designer appraised of all activities, progress and concerns
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Become fully familiar with Project Scope of Work, specifications, schedule and inter-discipline requirements
Assist in developing Plant Design and 3D Modelling and discipline under close supervision of senior designer
Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information effectively
Applies basic analytical skills, operational procedures to perform straightforward activities
Uses standard operating procedures to guide own work and solve standard problems
Essential Qualifications and Education:
High School graduate with a diploma in Mechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline or equivalent experience
Entry level to less than 3 years drafting and/or design
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Detailed knowledge of 2D CAD and /or other drafting software.
Proactive and willing to learn
Flexible for business travelling/assignments
