The establishment of the SharedServices is to support the advancement of TNCs goals: sharpening ourfocus, strengthening our culture, and driving operational excellence. Thisrole will have the opportunity to support organization wide operationalexcellence through optimization of people, processes, systems, andcompliance via performing and delivering core finance services/workstreamsin accounting. ACE sits within the central Finance Business Unit (BU),which will allow for more standardized processes, creation of moreefficiencies and synergy across the core financeservices/workstreams.Specifically, the Staff Accountant will executeresults in the new Shared Services Team of ACE, by providing specializedaccounting services at the business unit level. The role will partner with ACEleadership and liaise with BU finance staff to provide guidance and financialsupport and process journal entries for business units.Position location isflexible within the United States.The Staff Accountant provides specializedservices in processing journal entries, accounting or similar financialactivities for a department or business unit. They are an expert in their areaof specialization. They administer and maintain finance/accountingactivities in accordance with TNC policies and procedures and best practicesin financial management. The Staff Accountant provides assistance to staff intheir specialty area. RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE Reviews and registersjournal entries, interprets results of transactions and communicatesnecessary actions needed to comply with accounting standards and businessprocedures.
