About the Role: Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing Analytics Planning, this role will be responsible for executing on Dow Jones' next-gen approach to marketing data science, analytics and technology, in support of our direct to consumer propositions. This data science professional will be responsible for building and driving data driven strategies utilizing advanced analytics and insights, establishing robust measurement approaches for all acquisition, engagement retention campaigns and driving the test learn agenda for these areas. You Will:Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Execute a strategic vision for marketing data science, aligning it with the overall direct to consumer business objectives.Designs of experiments Measurement: Build designs of experiments to test price sensitivities and channel preference to measure customer behavior, such as churn, lifetime value, price sensitivity and purchase propensity to fuel all Acquisition, Engagement and Retention campaigns. Establish robust media attribution and measurement methodologies for these programs.Data Infrastructure and Technology: Collaborate with data engineering teams to establish and maintain robust data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and security. Evaluate and implement appropriate data science tools, platforms, and technologies to streamline processes and enhance data-driven marketing and Automated Pricing capabilities.Data-driven Marketing Strategies: Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze large volumes of customer data, including demographic information, transactional data, online behavior, and social media data. Derive actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies, improve customer targeting, and personalize marketing campaigns.Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and finance, to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Present insights and recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.Industry Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in marketing analytics, data science methodologies, AI and data software solutions. Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within the marketing data science function and build out next-gen capabilities.You Have:

5+ years experience in Data Science, Marketing Analytics fieldsDegree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.Experience of working in a Consumer analytics domain and Media industry is a plus.Strong expertise in advanced analytics, data mining, forecasting, and predictive analytics.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, along with experience in working with large-scale databases and data manipulation.Deep understanding of marketing principles, campaign measurement, and digital marketing channels.Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital analytics tools is a plusOur Benefits
