About Assistant Automotive Sales Manager

  Job Summary: The Assistant Automotive Sales Manager at Auffenberg Dealer Group is a Full-time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry located in Shiloh, Illinois. This role offers a competitive salary of up to $100,000 per year based on performance, paid biweekly. The Assistant Automotive Sales Manager will work closely with the Sales Manager to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the dealership and ensure sales goals are met. They will also provide support and guidance to the sales team and help create a positive and efficient work environment. Compensation & Benefits: - Competitive annual salary of $100,000 potential - Paid biweekly - Health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) plan with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Ongoing training and development opportunities Responsibilities: - Assist the Sales Manager in creating and maintaining a positive and efficient work environment for the sales team - Help manage day-to-day operations of the dealership, including inventory, pricing, and promotions - Work with the sales team to set and achieve monthly and annual sales goals - Provide support and guidance to the sales team, including training and development opportunities - Monitor and evaluate the sales team's performance and provide feedback for improvement - Participate in sales meetings and provide input on sales strategies and tactics - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat and referral business - Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' strategies Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred but suitable experience will be considered - Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive sales - Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent sales and negotiation skills - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - Knowledge of the automotive industry and market trends - Ability to work flexible hours and weekends EEOC statement: Auffenberg Dealer Group is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
