  To provide athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes and assist in the operation of the sports medicine center. Typical hiring salary for this position is $41,500 to $43,278.86 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

  Qualifications:

  Required:

  Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred

  2 years as a collegiate athletic trainer preferred, preferably at NCAA Division I level. Graduate assistantships and internships will be acceptable years of experience.

  Must meet State of Maine AT licensure standards.

  NATA Certified.

  Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  Computer proficiency.

  Previous experience using independent judgment and managing and imparting confidential information.

  Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds required.

  Ability to travel, normally requiring a valid driver’s license.
