Description

We are seeking a Receptionist for our site located in San Mateo, California. The role involves providing front desk support and ensuring the smooth running of our operations. The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our visitors, offering a warm welcome and providing accurate information. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors, ascertain the purpose of their visit, and guide them accordingly.

• Manage the multi-line phone system, answering calls promptly and directing them to the appropriate department.

• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to provide a positive impression of our workplace.

• Handle incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring it reaches the appropriate personnel.

• Conduct regular walk-throughs around the property to ensure safety and cleanliness.

• Provide assistance in emergency situations, acting promptly and responsibly.

• Utilize interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with all visitors and staff members.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a receptionist role or customer service

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff and clients
