Direct and coordinate assembly operations in accordance with business objectives to manufacture high quality products in time at the lowest possible cost by performing the following duties. Experience in the automotive industry, tracking KPI?s, 5S, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma. 1. Be a great example for your employees and other department leaders 2. Assures finished goods are in accordance with company quality control guidelines. 3. Communicates with production control in regards to production schedules daily 4. Communicate with management regarding production problems and output daily 5. Communicate with HR in regards of employee problems daily. 6. Support HR during hiring phase of new employees 7. Give feedback to your employees 8. Support employees if they need help 9. Optimize machine settings if results are not satisfactory 10. Optimize processes and procedures, special focus on OEE 11. Support small repairs and bug fixing 12. Communicate with machine manufacturer regarding machine issues and improvements 13. Schedule Service technician in coordination with CEO 14. Establishes maintenance procedures (in collaboration with other departments) 15. Maintains and controls the physical condition of the department (including 5S) 16. Establishes and maintains department policies, procedures and guidelines consistent with company policies, procedures and guidelines. 17. Supervises all department employees (especially shift leaders) by delegating work orders, monitoring the quality and quantity of work and supports instruction / training of employees on all work-related procedures. 18.
