Description:

　　The Production Assembly Technician fabricates Barrier Filters and Aero structures for commercial and military rotorcraft that protect engines from unscheduled maintenance and or replacement.Donaldson Assembly Technicians are responsible to efficiently perform all tasks while keeping accurate records following all procedures and policies while focusing on first pass yields.The selected candidate will have technical and mechanical skills to conduct close tolerance hole drilling, countersinking, fastener installation, rivet installation, trimming, assembly and is able to use micrometers, rulers, and calipers to conduct in process self-inspections.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Build Engine Inlet Air Filtration Systems for rotorcraftMaintain an acceptable level of attendance (as measured by the Attendance Policy)Install and remove: universal and flush head rivets, hi-loks, cherry-max and cherrylock rivets, hi-shear fasteners and platenutsWork with and around a variety of chemicals and follow all standards regarding PPEInterprets Engineering drawings and other documents to ensure proper build completionEffectively documents job completion paperworkUse protective equipment as requiredOther duties as required.

　　Build sheetmetal sub-assemblies to specs for CH-53K, V22 Osprey and UH-60's, plus some low volume parts.Tech must be able to select their own tools.Will be using hand tools and power tools like a pneumatic squeeze and a battery operated drill to begin with. If they have riveting experience they will use a rivet gun. If not, they want them to get used to the job before using the rivet gun.
