Your role:
The Manufacturing Operator 2 at MilliporeSigma in Bellefonte PA will:
Prepare, pack and process products used in assigned work areaFollow written instructions via MPS/SOP/ISO guidelinesProduction of products in a variety of manufacturing areasMonitor processes, identify opportunities for process improvementDesigns and conducts simple experiments to increase yield, improve product quality, and/or develop new productsAssist R&D in manufacturing of new productsPackage and label all products according to instructionsTest products in assigned work areaPrepares samples for QC when requestedCompletes in-process inspectionsMaintains QC experimental recordsOperate and maintain all necessary lab equipmentResponsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all equipment for manufacturing of productsMaintain inventory of raw materials and requests supplies at established levelsPerform general maintenance and cleaning of work area and lab equipPhysical Requirements:
Vision within normal limitsMove materials up to 50 lbs.May involve repetitive hand and arm movements and standing or sitting for extended periods of timeHandle chemicals safely using proper PPEManually dexterousWho you are:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED1+ year's experience working with automated manufacturing equipmentPreferred Qualifications:
