  In addition to possessing the ability to live out our core and functional values daily, candidates

  must possess the following requirements:

  Minimum Qualifications:

  Knowledge of swimming pool health regulations, laws, and ordinances governing public swimming pool operation

  Good physical condition and stamina required

  American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Certificate (Lifeguard). Water Safety Instructor Certificate or Starfish/Ellis (Instructors/Coaches)

  Age requirement:

  Water Safety Instructors - 16+ years.

  Must be able to work consistently from mid-May through early August 2024 with minimal time off.

  Personal cell phone is preferred to clock in and out of shifts

  Lifeguard / Instructor (WSI)

  $18.21 Hour; 30-35 hours per week

  -Provide swim lessons and water safety techniques to program participants

  -Monitor activities in the pool area to identify and prevent safety concerns

  -Provide quality customer service to patrons by greeting and answering questions

  The primary functions of this position is to provide safety and coach or teach aquatic skills and activities. You must be able to resolve conflicts, adapt to participants needs/behaviors, respond to emergency situations and enforce policies and procedures.   Applicants must provide a copy of your certifications or prove current class enrollment (Lifeguard and Swim Instructor candidates).

  If you are selected for employment, you will be notified of all mandatory training dates, and onboarding processes at the time of hire.
