Excellent Alzheimer Disease/ Dementia Physician Opportunity in Prescott, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ)

Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Group is seeking a full-time outpatient Alzheimer Disease/ Dementia Physician to join our established practice in Prescott, AZ.

Under direction from the CMO, this physician with advanced training and experience in the diagnosis and management of memory loss, Alzheimer’s Disease and other related dementia disorders. The key aspects of the dementia care role include prevention, the diagnostic process (including timely diagnosis, dementia staging, and differentiating dementia subtypes), communication of the diagnosis to the patient, and postdiagnosis management.

Responsibilities

Patient population – Geriatric/ Dementia Patients

Work shift is 10 hours per day (4 days per week) or 8 hours per day (5 days per week)

Provider will have 4 hours of administrative time per week

Daily patient volume: 15-18 patients per day

Qualifications

BC/BE in Neurology, Geriatrician, Geriatric Psychiatry, Family Medicine

Industry sponsored clinical trial experience

Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's Disease

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Valid state medical license as MD or DO

Valid DEA certificate

New graduates considered

Pay Range

$114.35- $141.81 /hour
