Airport Operations Officer
The Philadelphia International Airport is hiring experienced Operations Officers monitoring landside or airside activities at an airport to join their talented team. An employee in this class directs the activities of operational personnel working on airfields or in terminals during a shift. An employee in this class monitors and directs airfield or terminal operations, security, safety, communications, ground transportation, and other activities related to the welfare of passengers, airlines, tenants, and the general public.
This job requires:
1. EDUCATION:Completion of a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university, with major course work in aviation management, business administration or a related field.AND
2. GENERAL EXPERIENCE:One year of administrative and operational experience monitoring landside, airside or security activities.AND
3. SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:One year of experience, above the trainee level, in monitoring landside, airside or security activities.
