The AWS Risk and Resiliency team is seeking an environmental noise specialist to perform sound and vibration modelling of future AWS infrastructure to ensure expected emissions are compliant with applicable standards. The role will identify and detail any mitigating measures needed for compliance.Key job responsibilities- Model the expected sound and vibration emissions of datacenter equipment (use of CadnaA or SoundPLAN is preferred)- Conducting ambient sound levels and/or equipment source measurements using a Class 1 or Class 2 sound level meter.- Determine whether expected sound and vibration emissions are compliant with applicable standards.- Identify and detail any mitigating measures needed for compliance.- Report on findings and summarize any identified risks to project timelines, costs, or feasibilityAbout the teamInclusive Team CultureHere at AWS, we embrace our differences.
