Job Description:This mechanic will be required to troubleshoot systems,conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft systems andcomponents, including but not limited to flight controls, engines,hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Mechanic will applytechnical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determiningequipment malfunctions and airworthiness. They will apply required expertisein restoring aircraft to airworthy condition by interpreting technicaldocuments, such as manufacturer's manuals, Airworthiness Directives andTechnic
This position will work at our Steamboat Spring Air BaseShift is 20 days on / 10 days off
Performs daily aircraft maintenance for aircraft at their home base andsatellite locations.Schedules, coordinates, and completes scheduled maintenance andinspections in a timely manner.Documents, maintains, and completes aircraft records in accordance withFAA and Intermountain requirements.Tracks aircraft inspection, component due times, and completion of tasksin computer database.Responsible to maintain company-owned special tools and equipment in goodworking order. Ensures calibration requirements are met.Assists as requested in the transport of equipment and supplies,including, but not limited to medical equipment and medical drug bags withcontrolled substances.Maintains up-to-date knowledge of trends and new developments in the aviationfield.
Minimum QualificationsCurrent Federal Aviation Airframe & Power Plant license.Two years aviation maintenance experience.Working knowledge of both fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft and respectiveturbine engines.
Preferred QualificationsBell 407 and 429 experience with factory training.Understanding / proficiency of track and balance and equipment procedures.Advanced Troubleshooting Training / Experience.

Pushor pull portable equipment, including heavy items.- and -Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer parts,tools, and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up toand including heavy items.- and -May be expected to stand or sit in a stationary position for an extendedperiod of time.- and -Ascend and descend stairs to and from and off and on aircraft.- and -Raise or lower an object from one level to another.- and -Operate aviation maintenance equipment, tools, computers, and devicesrequiring the ability to move fingers and hands.- and -See and read various monitors and documents.- and -Transport oneself from place to place.- and -Move around on hands and knees, including in small confined spaces withinaircraft. Lower body by bending at the hips and the knees or to place bodyweight on one or both knees.
