About Advisor, Retail Channel (Industrial Engineer)

  The Advisor, Retail Channels (Industrial Engineer) supervise and organize team members for the development and completion of projects and initiatives that contributes to the achievement of our channel’s strategy. Collaborates with ongoing projects from other areas impacting channels to ensure design is adaptable at to channels and its customers needs. This position works hybrid and is based in Oriental Center building, San Juan, PR.

  MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Supervise a team responsible for developing and monitoring projects in accordance with defined strategies.

  Work closely with other Retail Channels Management team members to identify improvements opportunities as result of audits, quality reviews, etc.

  Define and communicates project objectives that are clear, useful, and attainable. Assign projects or initiatives to team members.

  Procure the project requirements like workforce, required information, agreements and material or technology needed to accomplish project objectives.

  Manage the full project management cycle; cost, time, resources, scope and quality.

  Conduct kick-off meetings with internal clients and team to review expectations and to create a written project plan with milestones and deliverables.

  Coordinate all aspects of project, working closely with the client and other teams.

  Organize, convene, and document regular client and internal project team meetings throughout development and post go-live to present and review project activities, establish deadlines and keep project on track.

  Create work orders for add-on services to meet expectation.

  Monitor every step of the project process, progress, anticipate potential issues and proactively manage details.

  Participate in other teams’ projects development to proactively anticipate potential issues, aligned to projects to channels needs and expectations.

  Issue a client survey at the completion of each project to determine the client’s perspective on the overall implementations.

  Maintain a professional and courteous manner with clients.

  Response to clients in a timely and attentive manner.

  Communicate clients concerns and future needs to projects team and supervisor.

  Provide projects related demos or flowchart design to new and existing clients.

  Provide need information for training, orientations, seminars and others to implementation team to ensure successful delivery.

  Visit channels, areas, coordinate meeting as part of project development.

  Other duties maybe assigned.

  MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer or related field required.

  Three (3) years of experience in projects implementation and development or related experience required. One (1) year of experience in a supervisory position.

  Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

  Excellent skills with ability to interact effectively with multiple levels across and outside the organization within strict confidentiality is required.

  Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects to independently meet deadlines and complete tasks in an accurate manner.

  Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse staff, colleagues, and clients.

  Demonstrated ability to analyze problems/issues, gather data and information, evaluate and recommend alternative solutions.

  Advanced computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other business applications required.

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish with a demonstrated ability to write communications clearly, concisely and effectively required.
