　　Job Title & Location:

　　Jr. Structural Engineer in Miami, FL

　　ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　· Assist Staff Engineers in performing basic technical engineering tasks ranging from organizing inspection results and data under direct supervision of Staff Engineer (P.E.).

　　· Provide assistance to Staff Engineer(s) in researching Codes and Applicable Standards.

　　· Assist Staff Engineer(s) in field observations of various litigation projects. Help with data collection (observations) during inspections.

　　· Provide drafting assistance to Staff Engineer(s) by developing floorplan diagrams, building permit research, and report production.

　　· Other duties as assigned

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　Education & Licensing

　　· Graduate of an ABET accredited college or university, or documented combination of education and professional experience in a related engineering field

　　· Passed the fundamentals exams and expects to sit for the P.E. exam once experience requirements are met

　　Required Experience and Skills:

　　· Proficient in Microsoft Word

　　· Ability to draft floorplan diagrams

　　· Knowledge of preparing written reports in Microsoft Word.
