About the Community:
Like much of southeastern Pennsylvania, York County has quaint small towns with historic downtowns, local shops and restaurants, and a strong sense of community.
York County is close enough to larger cities for commuting and day/weekend trips. It's within reasonable driving distance to Baltimore, Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Philadelphia.
As one of the oldest settled areas in Pennsylvania, York has plenty of historic sites. Highlights include the York Colonial Complex, the old York County Courthouse, and the homes of Revolutionary War figures like Gen. Horatio Gates.
