　　The following positions within Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatry, InpatientAdult Psychiatry, Psychiatric Emergency Services, CARES, and OutpatientBehavioral Health Services are offering the opportunity to enroll in a newprogram offering a cash incentive to recognize your work treating patientswith substance use disorders. This program is sponsored through the ACCESS(Advancing Careers, Competencies, and Equity in Substance TreatmentServices) grant. Employees must be >0.6 FTE to be eligible. 50% of thebonus will be received 90 days after signing the program contract.- Registered Nurses (RNs) may earn up to $7,500 by December 2024- Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) may earn up to $2,500 by December 2024

　　Job SummaryUnder general supervision, the psychologist provides doctoral level clinicalservices to adults as an outpatient Psychologist on the Outpatient AdultMental Health Services Team. Key roles include individual psychotherapy,expert diagnostic assessment case coordination and case management. Couples,family or group psychotherapy may also be provided. Standardized psychologicaltesting may be performed but is not a core component of this job. Thepsychologist is expected to have skills and abilities with a wide range ofmoderate to severe psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety,psychosis, and sequelae of traumatic stress. Multicultural competence isessential. This position functions as an integral member of theinterdisciplinary team and provides clinical leadership for other staffmembers and for trainees working with the team. There are opportunities to beinvolved in quality improvement, data monitoring, and research projects.The psychologist participates as a faculty member for the accreditedinternship program and participates in provision of supervision and teaching.Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Provides evidence-based psychotherapeutic services for adults with moderate tosevere mental health disorders.Able to work effectively, and on a potentially longer-term basis, withpatients who are diagnostically complex and may have challenging medical aswell as psychosocial needs.Conducts in-depth diagnostic assessment as needed.Conducts safety and risk assessments as needed.Generates documentation of assessment and intervention in the medical recordin a timely manner.Actively and effectively participates in team and departmental meetings.Consults with team members and other providers as needed.Participates or provides leadership in department, agency, or communitymeetings as well as internal Denver Health workgroups.Participates in supervision, teaching and didactics as part of the facultyof the accredited psychology internship program. Provides teaching andmentoring of other trainees as needed.Participate in program improvement and/or academic efforts to supportdepartment and organizational initiatives or to generate academic productivity

　　Education:

　　Doctorate Degree In Psychology Required

　　Work Experience:

　　One year post-doctoral experience preferred; will consider individuals whowill complete their post-doctoral fellowship in the summer/fall of 2024.

　　Licenses:

　　PSY-Licensed Psychologist - State Board of Psychologist Examiners Required andBLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required

　　Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

　　Advanced knowledge and skills in effective psychological practice with adultsincluding evidence-based therapies, brief therapy modalities, crisisinterven ion, and risk assessment.Knowledge of patient populations' cultural, religious, ethnic, andsocial systems in interactions, care planning, and education.Knowledge of ethics and supervision relevant to psychological practice andtraining in a hospital settingExcellent interpersonal skills and motivation to work as part of a dynamicinterdisciplinary team in a medical environment.Skill in establishing a therapeutic alliance and engaging the patient incollaborative goal setting and prioritizing patient needs.Ability to participate as a faculty member with the accredited psychologyinternship and to provide teaching and supervision as needed for psychologytrainees as well as trainees from other disciplines.Ability to respond to feedback and incorporate it into practice.Ability to manage the therapeutic relationship including consulting other teammembers and terminating treatment as needed.Ability to respond to trauma or psychiatric emergency including writinginvoluntary mental health...
