[SC00]The Admin Tech is responsible to perform various activities to support the Corporate Risk function, responsible for both the Enterprise Risk Management program and the Corporate Insurance Program. The role supports both from an administrative and logistical perspective with day-to-day activities more dedicated to specific Insurance tasks. The Risk team is highly collaborative across Enterprise with this role mirroring the interactions of the broader team.This position reports to the Director, Insurance Strategy and Operations. The ability to work remotely within the FirstEnergy service territory may be available based on business need.Responsibilities:Performs a variety of complex technical administrative assignments requiring initiative, judgment, and well-developed knowledge and skillsPerforming various insurance technical level tasks including providing assistance in procuring Corporate Insurance renewals, reviews certificates of insurance to ensure compliance with contract terms, supporting departmental budget and forecasting activities, approving insurance requirements in various corporate systemsPerforms research and compiles and data for projects and reportsSupports team members with routine day-to-day and administrative activities including creating and maintaining traditional and electronic files and records, distributing mail, answering telephone calls, processing requisitions and invoices, and maintaining office supply inventory and processing facilities requests for the department. This includes ability to use Coupa and SAP for requisitions and invoices and interface with support teams to troubleshoot issues.Provides administrative support to leadership including maintaining appointment calendars, timekeeping, expense reporting, scheduling conference calls and meetings, making travel arrangements and managing itineraries and associated details; coordinates large, multi-day meetings and eventsWorks across the Corporate Risk team to understand leadership priorities and ensure leadership capacity to focus on those priorities. Keep leadership well-informed of approaching deadlines or key meetings.Maintains a high degree of confidentiality on projectsTakes initiative to solve problems and bring issues to closureDemonstrates a willingness to question established procedures and processesDemonstrates a solid commitment to all aspects of safetyProvides sound internal and external customer service and responds in a prompt, courteous, and professional mannerDisplays excellent teamwork with other assistants and employeesQualifications include:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 5 years work experience requiredPrior work experience in an administrative support role or ability to demonstrate other relevant experienceMust pass the Company's EEI Support and Administrative Selection System (SASS) testStrong verbal and written communication skills and ability to review PowerPoint and other documents for consistency, grammar, etc.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
