IFF is very excited to welcome a newGlobal Master Plannerto join new centralized planning organization inTilburg, Netherlands,and we hope it’s you!
The Global Master Planner is responsible for maximizing the availability of products (OTP) and balance the working capital inventory investment while ensuring customer satisfaction in the most cost-efficient way. You will essentially control and maintain all Masterdata that is the basis for material availability in all compounding plants.
The Global Master Planner will assist the commercial teams to determine customer needs and create supply chain solutions for them, coordinate planning of raw materials with the global procurement team to optimize cost and ensure no disruption in supply to production while ensuring forecast data is accurate for contracting.
You will also provide coaching and guidance to the central planning team, who will be responsible for the inventory levels and master data entered/maintained.
The Global Master Planner will act as the liaison between commercial and the global supply chain planners for all expected significant demand shifts (i.e. New Wins).
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the Master data for assigned Manufacturing plants.
Collaborate with site supply chain managers / customer services to review significant shifts in demand.
Cascade and monitor planning best practices to the global supply chain planners.
Contribute to and support the development and improvement of global supply chain strategies.
Develop and analyze planning performance indicators in line with the global supply chain strategies.
Train and guide the global supply chain planners.
Share best practices with site planners.
Job Requirements
You have a Bachelor/Academic degree in logistics, supply management, operations management or relevant discipline.
We will rely on your at least 5 years of experience in an operations / supply chain environment.
You have a strong understanding of SAP MRP and related applications in managing demand and supply and the material flow through the supply chain.
You have the ability to manage expectations in an international environment with geographically dispersed stakeholders from various functions.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
