  Job Purpose : Provide administrative support to the various departments within AgencyONE

  Duties include but may not be limited to the following: Assist departments as directed by management or senior members of the team Communicate directly with our financial advisors by telephone and electronically Respond to the advisor inquiries in a timely and accurate fashion and provide frequent proactive updates as agreed. Monitor shared email inboxes and assess, respond or redirect inquiries to appropriate recipients Screen, log, assess, and direct incoming mail to appropriate recipients as requested Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries Direct requests and unresolved issues to an appropriate supervisor Update Agency Management system for various tasks, status, client requests, and resolution of issues. Assist new business with obtaining requirements for the underwriting of insurance policies Coordinate and prepare insurance and annuity policies Assist with obtaining commission statements from various insurance carriers Add folders and documents to and update Paperclip imaging system Assist with the processing of advisor contracts Update, maintain, and produce spreadsheets and reports as requested Skills/Key Competencies Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook Can prioritize workflow and understand urgency Must have attention to detail, is highly organized and understand its importance Experience working with data; entering, extracting and analysis Multi-tasking - working on various assignments simultaneously Is able to meet deadlines within tight timeframes Must be a self-starter and enjoy working in a team environment Strong initiative and ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership. Excellent communication and telephone skills are required; both verbally and written Understands the need for change and is flexible when needed. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

  This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm Eastern with a 30-minute break for lunch and two15-minute breaks.

  This is a Hybrid position at our Rockville, MD office

  Required Education: High school or equivalent
