Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring Conveyor Technician to work with a local automotive distribution facility in Olive Branch, MS with a starting pay of between $23-$35/hour (paid weekly) based on experience and skillset. These positions are responsible for troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.

　　Description:

　　The Conveyor Technician position is located in Olive Branch, MS. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues within conveyor systems and other warehouse machinery. You'll be excited about this opportunity because you will provide daily maintenance of conveyor systems. You will also provide daily maintenance of MHE batteries and battery station Including watering and upkeep

　　PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:

　　Maintain and repair material handling systems as needed (Includes gears, chains, pulleys, belts, electric gear motors, rollers, controls, etc.)

　　Maintain and repair sorter systems as needed (includes laser scanners, computer and electronics) Understand system flow, start, stop and un-jam sequence

　　Major responsibilities of this position are: trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, dismantle, lubrication and overhaul of machinery and equipment

　　Check zones, belt tracking, photo eyes, etc

　　•This position is also responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and parts

　　•Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes

　　•Make decisions based on technical documents

　　•Perform quality testing and inspections

　　•Review these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role…

　　•May need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time

　　Work Environment/Shift:

　　D shift - Wednesday - Saturday 5:00pm - 5:00 am (Wednesday ONLY 11:00 pm - 5:00am)

　　Very clean distribution facility.

　　Tons of walking in this 2.4 million sq ft facility.

　　Maintenance will have motorized vehicles for tools and gear due to the size of the facility.

　　Large sortation equipment will require maintenance candidates to be anywhere between 5 ft - 30 ft from the ground - heights CANNOT be an issue.

　　They do have harnesses. ,railings, platforms, enclosed areas they will regular work on, as well as scissor lifts and boom lifts they will use to change lighting, belts on overhead conveyors, etc.

　　Temp controlled on production side where primary work will be performed. Warehouse / stock area is non temp controlled and maintenance may be required to work in these locations as well.
