　　The School of Health and Natural Sciences at Mercy University invites qualified candidates to be considered for the position of Adjunct Faculty of Exercise Science at our Dobbs Ferry campus. Priority need for faculty with CSCS and experience teaching Strength and Conditioning.

　　Qualifications

　　Ph.D. in Exercise Science or related field preferred, M.S. in Exercise Science or related discipline required

　　CSCS required

　　Knowledge of teaching Strength and Conditioning at the collegiate level preferred

　　Commitment to working with a diverse population of undergraduate students

　　Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

　　Physical/Other Requirements:

　　Must be able to push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.

　　Must be able to meet all general health requirements for the position as per university policies.

　　This is an opportunity to join the School of Health and Natural Sciences with undergraduate programs in biology, clinical laboratory science, communication disorders, exercise science, nursing, occupational therapy assistant (AAS degree), and veterinary technology as well as 5 accredited graduate health professional programs (communication disorders, occupational therapy, nursing, physical therapy, and physician assistant studies).

　　Salary and rank are competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

　　Compensation is based on a semester and calculated on a semi-monthly pay cycle.
