JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is required to grow top line sales atassigned Menards stores within geographic territory through implementingsales/marketing programs, training activities, service and merchandisingresponsibilities. The store count will range based on geography andstore volume. Store count ranges between 8-13 stores, average territorycontains 12 stores. Sales Establish strong selling relationships withstore associates and store management. Continually promote and representthe brand and product strengths to Menards associates,customers/contractors discerning competitive advantage and competitor\'sweaknesses. Utilize the CRM system to document sales calls and storevisits. SSR will also gather and document competitor intelligenceinformation in the CRM. Conduct contractor and store events to promoteproducts and to increase sales Ensuring promotions, pricing & signage isset appropriately in each store. Prepare Annual Grow Plan (AGP) forassigned stores in territory that meet or exceed sales & profit goals.Training Conduct product knowledge (PK) training sessions for currentand newly hired Menards associates. Training should include features,benefits as well as selling skills and may include a demo of theproducts. Products include (Purdy, Bestt Liebco, Minwax, Thompson\'sWaterseal, White Lightning, Dutch Boy Paint). Conduct sales training tocurrent and newly hired Menards associates. Promotional Display trainingto Menards associates. Dutch Boy Color Collection training & featurebenefits training for Menards associates. Training should include how toconduct a \"color conversation\" with customers. Train store associateon equipment. i.e. tinting machines Service Respond to and resolveproduct/service/inventory issues at the store level. Assist storeassociates with tinting/mixing paint as needed. Department review of allSW products. Review all products on shelf to ensure products are fullystocked and properly displayed. Replace defected products (dents,labels,etc...) Recovery and facing of products by down stocking,stocking shelves and putting up product orders. Loading and maintainingsoftware computer updates and equipment.
