About Accounts Receivable Specialist

  Description Robert Half is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing accounts receivable processes, with a focus on deductions, aging reports, and cash applications. Experience with NetSuite is essential for success in this role.

  Key Responsibilities:

  Deductions Management:

  Investigate and analyze customer deductions to determine validity and ensure accurate resolution.

  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for deduction resolution.

  Aging Reports:

  Regularly review and analyze aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take appropriate actions for collections.

  Work proactively to prevent and address potential issues related to aged receivables.

  Cash Applications:

  Efficiently and accurately apply customer payments to outstanding invoices in a timely manner.

  Reconcile discrepancies between payment records and invoices.

  NetSuite Expertise:

  Utilize NetSuite to perform day-to-day tasks related to accounts receivable, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

  Provide input for system enhancements or improvements based on practical experience with NetSuite functionalities.

  Collections:

  Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.

  Implement effective collection strategies to minimize aged receivables.

  Reporting:

  Generate and analyze reports related to accounts receivable performance.

  Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements based on report findings.

  Qualifications:

  Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist with a focus on deductions, aging reports, and cash applications.

  Strong proficiency in NetSuite is required.

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  Effective communication and interpersonal skills for customer interactions.

  Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
