Whywork at MCC: Compensation Pay Range: \$18.00+/hr 2nd shift - 1:55pm -10:55 pm Monday - Friday 3rd Shift - 10pm - 6am Sunday to FridayGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability,life insurance and 401(k) Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourthof July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve,Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays Responsibilities: Continuouslychecks for print and seam quality. Removes defective material andsplices the roll web back together per the specification. Utilizes aruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools areused at other times as necessary). Handles rolls and palletizes themaccordingly as to not cause damage to them. Must understand basicprinting and seam related defects. Recording and entering data ondesignated paperwork as well as in the company operation system(Globetek). Participates in special projects and performs other dutiesas assigned. Qualifications: Ability to add and subtract, multiply anddivide to figure label counts and conversions. Ability to perform theseoperations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume,and distance. Ability to use simple Windows-based applications. Must beable regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific visionabilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
