About Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

  Description

  We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient management of financial transactions, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.   Responsibilities:

  Accounts Payable:

  Process and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.

  Prepare and process payments to vendors in a timely manner.

  Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.

  Work collaboratively with other departments to address any invoice-related inquiries.

  Accounts Receivable:

  Generate and send invoices to clients and donors.

  Monitor and track receivables to ensure timely payment.

  Reconcile accounts receivable ledger and address any discrepancies.

  Collaborate with program managers to resolve billing and collection issues.

  Prepare and analyze financial reports related to accounts receivable.

  General Financial Management:

  Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

  Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.

  Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.

  Qualifications:

  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.

  Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  Attention to detail and accuracy.
