　　Amazon Web Services is looking for senior engineers to help us define and build the future of computing. The AWS Elastic Block Store (EBS) service delivers high performance virtualized storage "in the cloud" for EC2. Data service offerings are the differentiating factor that drive customer adoption of AWS and EBS within public cloud marketplace. As a member of the EBS team you'll work alongside outstanding engineers and leaders to develop and operate one of the largest distributed storage systems in the world.

　　We are looking for a software development engineer for the Data services group that owns features leveraged by AWS customers to run and manage their workloads on EBS. You will be part of a team of engineers that develop and maintain services that enable our customer to securely backup, restore and move data while maintaining the durability and performance offered by EBS volumes. We strive to delight our customers with features that simplify their business and operational workflows while staying conformant to security and performance requirements

　　Basic Qualifications

　　3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

　　2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

　　Experience programming with at least one software programming language

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

　　Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
