　　What you will do:

　　As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll drive execution and play a vital role in building a culture of innovation at Fortive. You will build, manage, and inspire alongside a multi-functional team that solves for our toughest growth obstacles.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand their business needs, formulate and complete end-to-end review that include: data gathering, review, scaled deliverables, recommendations and presentations to stakeholders.

　　Contribute to a wide variety of technical projects using natural language processing, statistical analysis, machine-learning, and other forms of analytical modeling.

　　This opportunity could be for you if…

　　Hold a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) in computer-science/information-theory/language-technologies or a related field is required, and a Master or PhD is preferred.

　　Practical experience with Generative AI tools and technologies is highly preferred.

　　Demonstrated expertise with natural language processing applications and integrating them into organizational processes.

　　Broad experience and familiarity with other data-science methodologies and modalities, including machine learning, generative simulation, and statistics.

　　Extensive experience being part of cross-functional teams solving hard problems.

　　Project and stakeholder management experience.

　　Work experience with quantitative research methods (Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or related fields). Experience in statistics and Machine Learning Models, working with statistical/DS tools (R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB, Dataiku DSS, etc.).

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Track record of success in bringing AI applications into customer-facing products and experience solutions.

　　Distinctive reasoning skills and impeccable business judgment.

　　Strong written and verbal communication skills.

　　Everett, WA: The salary range for this position is $114655 - $212750

　　This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

　　Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
