Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will be tasked with handling customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer issues. Your role will also involve monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Maintain customer credit records with high accuracy

• Handle account coding tasks for the financial department

• Operate accounting software systems to streamline processes

• Utilize ADP - Financial Services for various accounting functions

• Employ Concur for expense management

• Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) tasks and ensure accurate accrual accounting

• Conduct auditing tasks as required

• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is a must

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Knowledge of Concur application is beneficial

• Understanding and practical experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively

• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) management

• Sound understanding of Accrual Accounting principles

• Proven experience in Auditing

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures
