Description

　　Robert Half currently has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Fort Washington, Pennsylvania area and will be a short-term contract position. Further career growth and quick advancement is possible in this dynamic department. The Accounts Payable Clerk duties will include matching and batching code invoices, resolving accounts payable issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger and processing checks.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Manage full-cycle accounts payable

　　Assist with internal and external audits as needed

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed

　　Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Complete special projects on an as-needed basis

　　Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

　　Provide administrative assistance to the Accounting/Finance Department

　　Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

　　Requirements

　　Associate or bachelor's degree; Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　High attention to detail

　　Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Prior experience in an accounts payable role preferred

　　Earlier work involving Accounting Functions
