Growing company that has expanded across the Northeast and beyond and is also a household name is searching for an Accounts Payable Manager to join its team. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of exciting changes the company is experiencing and ability to make an impact on the AP processes.

DOUBLED in size over the past year organically and through acquisition
New Ownership
New office in CT with a casual and friendly atmosphere
Been revamping the accounting department through automation as it is rapidly expanding
The AP manager will be responsible for:
Overseeing the invoice processing for the company
Handling escalated vendor responsibilities
Supporting month end close
Reporting as it related to accounts payable and metrics.
Assist with compliance for mergers
Assisting with the streamlining of the new automated AP software and continue to create new best practices and efficiencies.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in an AP Supervisory position and progressive work experience in accounts payable. Someone who can be proactive and take on projects in the AP department as it relates to automation and use of technology. Prior experience with AP best practices and managing projects ideal. Must have time management, extremely organized and ability to communicate well to stay ahead of the AP as they continue to grow.
