　　This opportunity entails being under close supervision, assist departments by performing basic assignments in the areas including, but not limited to Science, Planning, Technology. This position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.

　　Our Plano office is currently seeking an Environmental Planning Intern.

　　Relocation and housing are not provided for this position.

　　What You’ll Do:

　　Assists project team members with various support tasks.

　　Conducts basic research and data collection.

　　Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.

　　Assist in the development of graphics, presentation materials and reports.

　　Performs other duties assigned.

　　What You’ll Need:

　　Enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate programWhat We Prefer:

　　Two years completion of post-secondary degree program

　　Pursuing a major in and/or coursework experience in natural resources sciences, environmental planning/studies/sciences, land development planning, or civil engineering with a focus on or interest in environmental and/or transportation planning

　　Awareness or general understanding of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

　　Previous internship experience

　　Works well in a team setting

　　Problem solving and analytical skills

　　Document writing and editing skills

　　GIS mapping and web research skills

　　Familiarity using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
