　　Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with a growing company that is looking to add an Accounts Payable Clerk to their team! Detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerks will be interested in this successful company's job opening. This position could take your career to the next level. Candidates looking to work with a dynamic organization with a growing team will be interested in this Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position, where they will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Amherst, New York area and is a permanent employment.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Implement full-cycle A/P

　　Perform special projects as assigned

　　Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

　　Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners

　　Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

　　Provide internal and external audit assistance as required

　　Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

　　Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling

　　Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time

　　Requirements

　　Prior experience in an A/P role

　　Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

　　Knowledge of Sage 100 is a plus

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
