Description We are offering a contract for an employment opportunity in the construction/contractor industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk, based in West Columbia, South Carolina. This role involves working in an office environment, focusing on the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications

• Handling a high volume of invoices from various vendors and suppliers

• Utilizing software tools for specific industry tasks

• Ensuring all payables are approved and managed promptly

• Assisting in reducing the backlog of payables to ensure smooth department operations

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records

• Frequently interacting with programs like Adobe and Excel

• Reconciling accounts and running checks

• Coding invoices and performing data entry tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for managing and balancing financial records.

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) is required for handling and overseeing outgoing payments.

• Experience in Check Runs is necessary for executing payment processes effectively.

• Familiarity with Coding Invoices is crucial for accurately categorizing and recording financial documents.

• Strong Data Entry skills are needed for inputting financial information into digital databases.

• Demonstrable experience in Invoice Processing is key for managing payment requests.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for handling, analyzing and presenting data.

• Knowledge of Oracle financial software is necessary for managing financial data and processing transactions.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is beneficial for managing and tracking financial transactions.

• Experience with SAP software is important for streamlining accounting processes and improving efficiency.
